WELCOME TO THE GG2 WOMEN OF COLOUR CONFERENCE 2021!

The inaugural GG2 Women of Colour Conference took place on Thursday 9th September 2021. It iis an extension of the highly successful GG2 Diversity Conference which looks at all facets of diversity through a BAME lens. The Women of Colour Conference will focus on gender and ethnic diversity in the workplace and society in general. We will look at the intersectionality of these two protected characteristics and explore what organisations can do to change the gender and race ratio within their organisations. Our brilliant line up of speakers will demonstrate how to bring about change within organisations and provide a platform for women of all backgrounds to share personal stories of their path to success and open-up discussions around barriers to achieving better gender equality.

• Spotlight areas typically hard for BME women to access, discuss solutions and action points to instigate long-lasting, meaningful change.
• Exploring the tangible steps leaders and colleagues can take in order to establish a benchmark for change within their organisations and promote inclusive and welcoming cultures to ensure all their people thrive and excel.
• Thought-provoking topics with a global outlook, exploring issues that are relevant to all women across the world, with international speakers.
• Celebrate trailblazing women from BAME communities who have overcome discrimination, smashed glass ceilings, and served as an inspiration to others.
